TERMS &
CONDITIONS
Your booking will
be subject to the following conditions:
1.
These terms and conditions are only valid for those rental properties managed
directly by SOUTH SPAIN ONLINE. Please ask for the terms & conditions
of the rental properties advertised on this web page which are managed directly
by the property owner / representative.
2.
RENTAL TERM - The check-in and check-out time may vary according to the
rental property. The rental terms will be advised in the Rental Notes section
of each property record displayed on this web page.
3.
AVAILABILITY REQUEST - SouthSpain-Online will respond every property
availability request by telephone and / or by email the same day if received
within business hours otherwise we will contact you next day.
4.
BOOKING RESERVATION - The reservation is confirmed by paying a deposit
of 20% of the total amount. This is a non refundable deposit and is to be paid
within 3 days from the availability confirmation date; if the payment is not
made within the above mentioned terms we can not guarantee the availability
of the property. The deposit must be received and cleared by us before your
booking can be confirmed and a contract made between us.
5.
LATE BOOKINGS - A booking made 4 weeks prior to commencement date of
the rental period must be accompanied by FULL PAYMENT of the rental charge.
This payment must be made within 3 days from the availability confirmation date.
Your payment must clear before your booking can be confirmed and a contract
made between us.
6.
BALANCE PAYMENT - The remaining balance, as reflected on our Invoice,
must be paid 4 WEEKS before the commencement date of your booking (no reminder
will be sent) or UPON ARRIVAL according to the rental property. If SouthSpain-Online
does not receive the balance within the above mentioned terms, your booking
will be cancelled leaving no option to claim for cancellation charges.
7. PAYMENT
- We accept cash, bank transfer, cheque and Credit / Debit cards.
8.
REJECTIONS - Incomplete or inaccurate forms/submissions will be rejected.
Those accompanied by incorrect credit / debit card details, cheques completed
incorrectly, unsigned or subsequently not honoured by the bank, will also be
rejected.
9.
CANCELLATION - If for any reason you decide to cancel your holiday home
booking, this event must be advised in writing. In the case of the balance to
be paid 4 WEEKS before the arrival date of your booking, your full payment may
not be refundable depending on the exact amount of time between the date you
cancel and your arrival date. We advise clients to take out adequate holiday
cancellation insurance. In case of the cancellation from the tenant, the following
cancellation rules will be applied: - If the cancellation is notified 21 days
before the rental period begins, the penalty is 30% of the total amount paid.
- If the cancellation is notified from 20 and 14 days before the rental period
begins, the penalty is 50% of the total amount paid. - If the cancellation is
notified from 13 days before the rental period begin, the penalty is 100% of
the total amount paid.
10.
ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY - The number of persons occupying the accommodation
must not be more than the number specified in the booking form. In the event
of any unauthorised person being found in the accommodation, we may terminate
your booking forthwith without refund. Houses must not be over-occupied. Sleeping
accommodation indicates maximum occupancy. Disorderly or unruly behaviour may
result in the immediate termination of this contract.
11.
YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY - SOUTH SPAIN ONLINE takes no responsibility for
client's personal property left in the rental property either during the Rental
Term or after departure. Clients shall not seek to recover damages from the
Property Owner or Representative and SouthSpain-Online for loss, damage or theft
of personal property.
12.
CLEANING AND LAUNDRY - The rental property will be cleaned prior to the
arrival date, and one set of clean linens and towels will be provided. Normal
and routine cleaning after departure is included in the Rental Fee. For multi-week
stays, mid cleanings and laundry service are not included in the rental prices.
13.
HOUSE CONTENTS - The house and all its contents must be maintained and
left in a clean and tidy condition. The cost of repairs to the house and its
contents or surrounds and the replacement cost of missing items arising as a
result of negligence or misuse will be requested from the tenants.
14.
WEB PAGE SECURITY - Security is provided concerning your credit card
information, name, address, e-mail and any other personal information you may
provide to SOUTH SPAIN ONLINE. We utilize 40-bit encryption based on a Digital
Certificate issued by THAWTE a wholly owned subsidiary of VeriSign, Inc. This
allows for utilization of Secure Socks Layer, which is a method for encrypting
data. This protects confidential information - such as credit card numbers,
online forms, and financial data - from interception and hacking.

ONLINE reserves the right to change the rates and conditions without notice.
