A lovely Spanish-owned Alpujarran country house, 20 mins from the market town of Orgiva, with private garden and swimming pool. The Cortijo is set in a beautiful valley below the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.
The cortijo is surrounded by several hectares of land comprising green lawns, rose bushes and an abundance of fruit and olive trees. The Cortijo itself has 3 bedrooms and a spacious lounge with dining area and glass-covered fireplace. There is also a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Out side the Cortijo there is an extensive lawn area with large swimming pool and magnificent veiws of the surounding mountains. There are sun loungers around the pool for sun bathing and enjoying the breathtaking scenery. The property is accessed by a small track, 5 minutes drive from the main road, which leads down to a parking area above the house. The owner will be on hand to welcome guests and help them settle in.
The cortijo is very private and peaceful and is 20 minutes drive from Orgiva. Orgiva itself has all facilities such as banks, shops, restaurants and cafes.
The area is in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains and is very well placed for visiting the historical city of Granada and the famous Alhambra palace, and also for visiting the mountain villages in the Sierra Nevada. It is only 50 minutes from the Costa Tropical.
